Information Security Risk Assessor

Position: Information Security Risk Assessor at ResMed
Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

Join Res Med as an Information Security Risk Assessor, focusing on safeguarding information assets and computing environments. This role involves proactive risk assessments, especially with cloud and AI/ML-based products.

As part of Res Med’s Enterprise Security Group, you will evaluate security measures across a range of technologies and collaborate across global teams. The successful candidate will need strong technical expertise and communication skills to articulate security risks to various stakeholders effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed security risk assessments for cloud solutions

• Lead evaluations during third-party vendor onboarding processes

• Ensure secure product designs for AI/ML initiatives

• Embed security throughout the software development life cycle

• Maintain high-quality documentation of security assessments

Requirements:

• Experience leading security risk management initiatives

• Knowledge of security domains including vulnerability management

• At least 5 years of related professional experience

• Preferred certifications in information security fields

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks advantageous
