Senior Data Developer

Elevate your career as a Senior Data Developer with Shannex in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This full-time, senior role is focused on building data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
In this pivotal role within the Analytics and Innovation team, you'll report to the Director of Analytics and Innovation. Your responsibilities will include designing and optimizing data pipelines, creating curated datasets, and applying data modeling best practices. You will also contribute to enterprise reporting and enhance future AI capabilities, making a meaningful impact on healthcare data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric

• Optimize data workflows for reliability and performance

• Develop datasets to support analytics across the organization

• Implement data governance practices and quality checks

• Partner with analysts to ensure datasets meet business needs
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s preferred

• 7+ years in data engineering or analytics development

• Strong experience with SSIS and ETL tools

• Advanced Power BI skills including DAX and Power Query

• Familiarity with cloud migration projects
