QA Tester

Position: QA Tester at Bluedrop Training & Simulation
Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

Join Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc. (BTSI) as a QA Tester, where your cybersecurity and user experience passion shine. Engage in creative problem-solving while testing key applications for military contracts.

In this role, you will develop and maintain functional test plans for the Learninglogics suite, including LMS and LCMS applications. Collaborate with teams to document, execute, and analyze test cases that ensure product quality and readiness. This position offers a mix of testing responsibilities and potential client-facing technical support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain functional test plans and artifacts

• Identify, document, and ensure resolution of software issues

• Create and execute comprehensive test cases and libraries

• Participate in software design reviews and testing standards establishment

• Provide customer support and conduct product demos

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software testing experience

• Proficient in writing test cases and plans

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to obtain Government of Canada security clearance

• Knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium
