Senior Network Security Specialist

Shape enterprise security strategies as a Senior Network Security Specialist based in Canada. This remote role demands expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and secure technology delivery.

In this impactful position, you'll spearhead cybersecurity initiatives while working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership. Your responsibilities will involve designing secure architectures, assessing risks across environments, and improving security practices inclusive of cloud and on-premises technology. You will also facilitate threat modeling and advance standards in Dev Sec Ops  practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess current and target-state security architectures

• Identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities

• Develop security standards and reusable architecture patterns

• Define secure design approaches and reference architectures

• Support application security and secure software development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Minimum 5 years in information technology or cybersecurity

• At least 3 years as a Cybersecurity Architect or Specialist

• Strong experience in security controls governance

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST and ISO
