Senior Systems Engineer

Elevate your career as a Senior Systems Engineer with Weir, located in Halifax, Gatineau, Ottawa, or Montreal. This hybrid role focuses on the development of advanced Information Systems for the Royal Canadian Navy.
As part of Weir’s Systems Engineering Team, you'll contribute to the design, integration, and delivery of mission-critical naval systems. This position requires expertise in systems engineering, technical documentation, and stakeholder engagement. You will collaborate to shape innovative solutions to enhance Canada’s naval capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with clients to document system requirements

• Develop high-level architectures for naval systems

• Produce engineering artefacts and technical documentation

• Participate in project meetings and technical reviews

• Maintain a commitment to safety and security standards
Requirements:

• 7+ years of technical/engineering experience

• 4+ years specifically in systems engineering

• Knowledge of systems security and lifecycle management

• Familiarity with structured cabling systems

• Strong understanding of relevant engineering standards
