Own technical SEO for Blacksmith Agency remotely across Canada, South Africa, or the USA, with expertise in crawlability and indexation. Shape search strategy without paid media responsibilities, focusing exclusively on organic and AI discovery.
As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will guide B2B and growing-brand clients through technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking changes. You will serve as the strategic voice, making decisions across audits, optimization, reporting, and client direction. Your work spans classic organic results and AI search.
Key Responsibilities:- Own crawl, indexation, speed, schema, and site architecture
- Build keyword strategies and on-page optimization priorities
- Improve visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity
- Manage links, local search, and multi-location SEO
- Report through GA4 and Search Console quarterly roadmaps
- Three or more years of hands-on SEO experience
- Experience running audits and implementing fixes independently
- Fluency with Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog
- Experience using Ahrefs or Semrush
- Agency experience serving several clients simultaneously
