Own technical SEO and search strategy remotely for Blacksmith Agency, serving clients across Canada, South Africa, or the USA.
As an SEO Account Strategist, you lead search for B2B and growing-brand clients. You shape technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking explanations. Your work spans audits, optimization, AI search visibility, reporting, and client strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Own crawl, indexation, speed, schema, and site architecture
- Develop keyword strategies and on-page optimization priorities
- Improve visibility across Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT
- Manage links, local search, and multi-location SEO
- Report through GA4 and Search Console quarterly
- Three-plus years of hands-on SEO experience
- Experience running audits and implementing technical fixes
- Fluency with Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog
- Ahrefs or Semrush experience
- Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
