Business Analyst​/Functional Analyst — Enterprise Transformation & Digital Programs

Large-scale enterprise transformation programs do not succeed on technology alone. They succeed when there are skilled business analysts who can bridge the gap between what the business needs and what the technology delivers - translating complex operational requirements into clear, actionable specifications. Ontario's energy sector is running several such programs right now, and the demand for strong BAs is consistent and ongoing.

The programs driving demand span SAP S/4

HANA implementation, Service Now platform deployment across IT, HR, and Security functions, a large-scale data and AI modernization initiative, and ongoing digital delivery across multiple business units. The BA roles within these programs vary - some are deeply technical, working directly with development teams on system requirements and user stories; others are more process-focused, supporting business process re-engineering, stakeholder workshops, and change readiness.

What they share is the need for sharp analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to manage ambiguity in a complex environment.

• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements across enterprise programs
• Translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
• Facilitating requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews across business and IT functions
• Conducting process mapping, gap analysis, and solution evaluation
• Supporting UAT planning, test execution, and defect management
• Collaborating with development, architecture, and project management teams to ensure solution alignment
• Developing process documentation, training materials, and post-implementation support plans

• 4 to 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst on enterprise IT or transformation programs
• Experience working on SAP, Service Now, ERP, or similar enterprise platform implementations is a strong asset
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• CBAP, CCBA, or similar BA certifications are assets

BA demand on these programs is ongoing - as work streams move through design, build, test, and deployment, the type of BA work evolves, but the need does not stop. Being in our pipeline means we can place you at the right stage of the right program rather than you having to find the timing yourself.

Prior nuclear background is not required. Experience in regulated industries, utilities, financial services, or other complex enterprise environments is directly applicable.

Oshawa CHQ / Toronto / Pickering - hybrid roles, typically 2 to 3 days remote
