ASL–English Academic Interpreter; STEM; Workplace
Saint Mary’s University in Halifax is seeking an ASL-English Staff Interpreter (Science) to join the Interpreting Services team. You will interpret complex STEM material for lectures, defenses, and meetings while collaborating with faculty and students.
Requirements include a recognized sign language interpreter training credential and CASLI/NIC certification, plus at least five years of ASL/English interpreting experience. Travel may be required; attractive benefits are offered.
