The Canadian Red Cross is seeking a Senior Lead IHL Legal Advisor for its partially virtual team in Canada. With over 12 years of experience in IHL education and legal guidance, you will oversee the development of training content while ensuring accuracy and consistency. As a key spokesperson, you will represent the organization and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance IHL understanding and application.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead IHL education and dissemination activities nationwide
• Oversee the creation of national and international training materials
• Serve as spokesperson at relevant forums and events
• Supervise the execution of IHL outreach deliverables
• Engage with stakeholders for strengthening IHL education
Requirements:
• Minimum of 12 years in IHL education and program design
• Law degree and advanced degree in law required
• Membership in good standing with a law society
• Strong expertise in pedagogical approaches for outreach
• Fluency in French strongly preferred
Utilize your expertise in IHL to elevate the training and outreach efforts of the Canadian Red Cross.
