At Sidetrade, we are seeking a Legal Manager with 5-7 years of experience in commercial law, specifically within SaaS or tech environments. You'll draft, review, and negotiate various agreements while collaborating with Sales, Finance, and other teams globally.
Your role will also involve supporting compliance frameworks and lead legal automation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate customer-facing commercial agreements
• Support Sales teams for efficient deal execution
• Develop contract templates and negotiation playbooks
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to stakeholders
• Monitor compliance with privacy and AI regulations
Requirements:
• Law degree and qualification to practice in Canada
• 5/7+ years in commercial law within SaaS
• Strong negotiation experience in B2B contracts
• Knowledge of CCPA, PIPEDA, and AI regulations
• Fluent in English and French preferred
