Job Description

The Stations Procurement Coordinator will work closely with the Station Project Managers, will manage the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services required for the station construction. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining accurate procurement records.

  • Develop the Scope or Works for stations activities.
  • Analyze project requirements and assess procurement needs for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Oversee the preparation of purchase requisitions for a wide range of materials and services until the issuance of purchase order and agreements to selected suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure proper drawings, technical specification and quotes are included with purchase requisitions.
  • Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance with respect to delivery schedules, product quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Support the identification and assessment of procurement-related risks related to station construction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, promoting a positive team environment and culture of collaboration.
Work Conditions
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, under different weather and environmental conditions.
  • May require working extended hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet project deadlines.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Experience in working in large and complex construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with procurement software tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to analyze complex data and distill into a clear, compelling and concise narrative.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and subcontract terms and conditions.
  • Time management skills, able to work on multiple projects at the same time and manage and coordinate competing organizational needs.
  • Ability to perform in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an annual base salary in the anticipated range of $70,000–$100,000 CAD, with compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
