Join CB&I as a Buyer, specializing in materials procurement and vendor management for our Storage Solutions division. This role requires strong negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of the procurement lifecycle.
You will report to the Manager of Supply Chain Management, engaging with teams across engineering, operations, and estimating to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Your responsibilities will include preparing bidding documents, maintaining product specifications, and negotiating purchase orders to align with project requirements while adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and distribute procurement documents and bids
• Negotiate contracts with regional and international vendors
• Perform evaluations for bids and award orders
• Assist in resolving vendor disputes and claims
• Implement process improvements for procurement efficiency
Requirements:
• 1-5 years of buyer or procurement experience
• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor onboarding
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
