Position: Fleet Supply Technician Role
Step into a vital role as Supply Technician 1 with the Public Works Department in Fall River, focusing on effective inventory management for provincial fleet operations.

This permanent position requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure the timely procurement of equipment and materials. You will manage inventory levels, engage with suppliers for optimal service, and support the fleet operations team. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in inventory systems are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and coordinate stock procurement processes

• Advise on inventory levels and pricing structures

• Handle inquiries regarding purchase orders with suppliers

• Analyze requirements for winter materials procurement

• Collaborate with fleet personnel regarding stock specifications

Requirements:

• Completion of High School plus four years of experience

• Familiarity with procurement and inventory management

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with MS Office and SAP preferred

• Safety training certifications like First Aid and WHMIS desirable
