Inventory Control Specialist

Position: Inventory Control Specialist at Metro Supply Chain
Elevate inventory management as an Inventory Control Specialist with Metro Supply Chain. This role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and robust data processes.

Located in Georgetown, Ontario, you'll report to the Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will include monitoring inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory accuracy via monitoring and tracking process

• Investigate discrepancies and refine procedures continuously

• Schedule and perform planned and physical cycle counts

• Communicate inventory issues effectively with management

• Collaborate with operations team for efficient inventory flow

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Organized with strong attention to detail

• Problem-solving capabilities and adaptability

• Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs and stand throughout the shift

• Secondary school completion preferred; logistics diploma is a plus
