Position: Intermediate Buyer with IMP Aerospace
Enhance your procurement skills as an Intermediate Buyer at IMP Aerospace & Defence. This position offers the chance to implement effective sourcing strategies while ensuring supplier collaboration.

In this role, you will report to the CMLU Material Manager and be a vital member of the procurement team. Your duties will include managing purchase orders in JD Edwards, sourcing high-quality materials, and overseeing supplier performance. You will focus on continuous improvement and contribute to Lean methodologies in the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with new and existing suppliers

• Manage RFQs and negotiate supplier contracts

• Track and manage purchase orders efficiently

• Action discrepancies with suppliers and stakeholders

• Recommend cost reduction initiatives continuously

Requirements:

• Preference for candidates with a background in aerospace

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain

• Strong skills in MRP systems; knowledge of JD Edwards is beneficial

• Clearances for security and health compliance

• Personal commitment to safety and health standards
