Your role directly contributes to the efficiency of ship repairs and the success of defense initiatives, showcasing your procurement expertise. Through collaboration and negotiation, you will push for excellence and continuous improvement in supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute comprehensive sourcing strategies based on market data
• Lead engagement with stakeholders for alignment on projects
• Manage supplier relationships during procurement lifecycle
• Draft contracts and manage RFIs/RFPs
• Monitor and improve supplier performance metrics
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education preferred
• At least 7 years in procurement required
• Skilled in managing procurement life cycles strategically
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
• Familiar with MS Office Suite and procurement tools
