Become a vital part of Garda World Cash Services in Halifax, Nova Scotia as a full time Coin Room Processor. Manage coin deposits and ensure accuracy while working in a secure environment.
This full time role includes verifying coin deposits, comparing coin bags with manifests, and entering data into tracking systems. Comfortably lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining a clean workspace are essential for success. You’ll work Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 3:30PM, supporting the safety and efficiency of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify all customer deposit ticket values for accuracy
• Compare received coin bags against manifest documents
• Enter verified coins into tracking systems accurately
• Operate jet scan for coin sorting and verification
• Uphold departmental productivity and cleanliness standards
Requirements:
• Reliable transportation is necessary for this role
• Steel toe shoes are mandatory on-site
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Office required
• Must work with minimal supervision and under pressure
• Flexibility to adjust to varied shifts as needed
