Senior Buyer

Position: Senior Buyer at Ultra Maritime

Ultra Maritime is seeking a Senior Buyer to oversee procurement activities for contracts related to naval operations. In this role, you will coordinate purchases, resolve quality issues, and provide tactical support for the Supply Chain leadership. Your contributions will ensure timely vendor payments and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer procurement for materials and commodities above $250K

• Process purchase requisitions and vendor quotes accurately

• Resolve Nonconforming Material Reports within the quality system

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, and Engineering teams

• Support invoice and receiving error resolutions for vendors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in a related field

• 4+ years of related procurement experience

• Eligibility for security clearance might be required

• Knowledge of FAR guidelines and procurement processes

• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
