Purchasing and Inventory Planning Coordinator

Lead purchasing and inventory planning from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, using forecasting and supplier management across Ritchie’s Flooring locations. Travel between branches as required.
As Purchaser and Supply Chain Coordinator, you will coordinate material availability for residential, retail, commercial, multi-unit, insurance, and project work. Your responsibilities span purchase orders, replenishment levels, supplier follow-up, inventory accuracy, freight, and landed costs. You will also oversee branch display and sample work.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain live project forecasts and coordinate phased deliveries
Set replenishment levels and coordinate branch transfers
Prepare purchase orders and track open supplier commitments
Review aged stock and coordinate reduction actions
Oversee counts, audits, discrepancies, and RFMS corrections
Requirements:
Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply chain, or logistics
Advanced Microsoft Excel and inventory systems experience
Strong analytical, forecasting, negotiation, and organizational skills
Excellent supplier relationship and branch coordination abilities
Valid driver’s license and required branch travel availability
