Technical Buyer Aerospace Procurement

Technical procurement expertise meets inventory management in Halifax, supporting timely material availability for Jazz Aviation LP on a full-time day schedule. Strong negotiation and Excel skills are central.

The Buyer works within Jazz Aviation LP’s Routine Purchasing Team, processing requisitions and managing stock levels. This permanent position coordinates with customers and suppliers to procure products and services cost-effectively. It suits candidates with purchasing knowledge, supplier relationship experience, and aviation or aerospace exposure.

• Process material requisitions and release technical or non-technical orders
• Negotiate supplier pricing, quality, terms, transportation, and duties
• Expedite deliveries and maintain appropriate inventory levels
• Resolve shipping, certification, pricing, invoicing, and parts issues
• Prepare purchasing reports and analyze trends using Microsoft BI and Excel

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong Excel skills and working Microsoft Power BI knowledge
• Purchasing, inventory management, and repair activity knowledge
• Strong negotiation and supplier problem-solving abilities
• Minimum two years of procurement or supply management experience preferred
