Maintenance Coordinator

Join Thales as a Maintenance Coordinator in Halifax, Canada, where your organizational skills will ensure high-quality ship maintenance by subcontractors. You'll coordinate tasks and ensure compliance with safety standards.

As a key player on the Waterfront Service Delivery Team, you’ll support the Ship Maintenance Leads in planning, executing, and documenting maintenance activities. Responsibilities include reviewing maintenance instructions, compiling reports, and ensuring service providers have necessary materials to meet their tasks. You'll also manage documentation while supporting health and safety compliance throughout the maintenance process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general project support to the Service Delivery Team

• Assist in planning and overseeing maintenance activities

• Compile and enter Work Item closure reports

• Ensure subcontractor records are up-to-date

• Maintain compliance with Health and Safety standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-year technical diploma or equivalent experience

• At least 2 years in Military or Industrial Projects

• Familiarity with DRMIS or document management systems

• Experience in SAP or comparable software

• Background in ship-refit and repair activities
