APSEA Maintenance Worker Position

The Atlantic Provinces Special Education Authority (APSEA) is seeking a Maintenance Worker under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor. This role encompasses a variety of maintenance tasks, including grounds care, minor repairs, and equipment support. Your efforts will directly impact the community and their accessibility needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance of grounds, including snow removal and gardening

• Assist in performing plumbing and electrical repairs under supervision

• Monitor and assist with heating/cooling system functions

• Aid in setting up for events and moving furniture

• Complete inspections and document findings for safety equipment

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in maintenance

• Completion of High School Certificate required

• Clear Driver’s Abstract is necessary

• Strong communication skills and positive team attitude

• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds independently
