Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician with The Armour Group
Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

As a Maintenance Technician, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and play a vital role in maintaining building systems and mechanical equipment. Ideal candidates must be physically fit to handle repairs and unit maintenance. You'll respond to various maintenance issues while ensuring tenant satisfaction through excellent customer service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to fire and intrusion alarms promptly

• Record mechanical and electrical system readings

• Conduct daily inspections for safety hazards

• Collaborate with team members for efficient operations

• Attend to tenant maintenance requests with care

Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience preferred

• Experience in Food & Beverage environments an asset

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking

• Experience in maintaining building infrastructure required
