Fleet Maintenance Manager – Halifax, NSFull-Time | Permanent | Immediate Start | $45–$50/hrWe are currently seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to join a well-established operation in the Halifax area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable fleet.

We are open to both licensed Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanics and highly experienced non-certified mechanics with strong hands-on fleet maintenance experience.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and inspection of company fleet vehicles and equipment

Managing preventative maintenance schedules to ensure reliability and compliance

Diagnosing mechanical issues and coordinating repairs (in-house or through vendors)

Supervising or supporting a small team of mechanics/technicians (if applicable)

Maintaining accurate service records and maintenance documentation

Ensuring all equipment meets safety and regulatory standards

Managing parts inventory and working with suppliers for repairs and sourcing

Supporting breakdown response and troubleshooting as required

Promoting a strong safety culture within the maintenance function

What We’re Looking For

Strong background in fleet, heavy equipment, or automotive maintenance

Experience with preventative maintenance programs and diagnostics

Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Leadership experience considered an asset, but not required

Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Automotive Technician considered an asset (not required)

Valid driver’s licence (required)
