As a Plant Service Person I at Metrolinx, you will engage in fundamental janitorial tasks, maintenance, and minor repairs essential for the upkeep of our facilities. This full-time position requires attention to detail and readiness to operate specialized cleaning equipment, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the workplace.

Your role is vital for maintaining high standards of hygiene and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect facilities for cleanliness and rectify deficiencies

• Conduct general janitorial services, including garbage removal

• Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment

• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed

• Report any unusual findings to the supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 9 months of building servicing experience

• Valid class “G” driver’s license

• Forklift and safety training certifications

• Ability to interact courteously with the public
