Industrial Maintenance Technician

Cintas is looking for a Maintenance Technician I to support our industrial laundry facility in Halifax, NS on the 2nd shift. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment like washers and dryers.

The Maintenance Technician I position is crucial in our operations, ensuring equipment such as boilers and conveyor systems run efficiently. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in industrial equipment repair, along with blueprints reading skills, will thrive in this role. You will also perform preventive maintenance and manage inventory supplies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in repairing industrial equipment and systems

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks

• Monitor and maintain equipment inventory

• Ensure safety and cleanliness in work areas

• Maintain accurate maintenance records

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial environments

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Ability to read blueprints and maintenance literature

• Capacity to stand for long periods

• Military experience is a plus
