Facilities Operations Manager

Dexterra Group is hiring a Site Technical Manager to oversee facility operations in Halifax. This role focuses on ensuring compliance and efficient system maintenance through strong management skills.
As a Site Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of various facilities.

Your role encompasses quality control, compliance with building codes, and management of maintenance software. You will collaborate with contractors to ensure that all work meets safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

• Manage contract performance and external contractors

• Provide technical oversight of building systems

• Prepare reports on quality and safety metrics

• Support the Site Manager in maintaining standards
Requirements:

• Must secure a secret security clearance

• BESO I or II, Fourth Class Power Engineer certification

• HVACR licensing and experience in facility operations

• At least 3 years of related experience required

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
