Be a vital part of National Diabetes Trust as a Dropbox Attendant, focusing on the collection of household goods and textiles. Flexible part-time hours await you in this independent contractor role.
This position involves the regular collection and storage of donations from community bins. You will bag loose items, maintain cleanliness around donation sites, and transport goods when necessary. Accurate logging of services completed is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Regularly empty donation bins as per a set schedule
• Bag loose textiles for easy handling
• Maintain cleanliness around donation boxes
• Keep thorough weekly service log sheets
• Transport items to storage facilities as needed
Requirements:
• Ownership of a large vehicle (van/cube van)
• Must hold a valid Driver’s license
• Capability to regularly lift 50 lbs
• Obtain an HST # with our help
• Pass a satisfactory criminal background check
