Organized Maintenance Planner

Position: Organized Maintenance Planner Needed
Irving Shipbuilding is looking for a Maintenance Planner to streamline operations. This full-time in-office position focuses on organizing maintenance strategies and managing JD Edwards work orders effectively.

In this pivotal role, you will support the Maintenance Supervisor in refining workforce performance and planning material resources. Your proactive approach will directly influence the execution of maintenance activities while ensuring alignment with production timelines, thus contributing to operational excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and plan maintenance tasks for efficiency

• Track work orders in JD Edwards (E1) system

• Manage material orders and inventory levels

• Balance production requirements with equipment downtime

• Collaborate on preventive maintenance strategies

Requirements:

• Trade certification (e.g., Industrial Electrician or Mechanic)

• Experience with JD Edwards or a CMMS approach

• Strong skills in Excel, Word, and troubleshooting

• Background in maintenance planning or scheduling

• Exposure to industrial systems or power generation
