Evening Custodian Regional Centre

Become a vital part of the Halifax Regional Centre for Education as an Evening Custodian. This role focuses on maintaining clean and safe school facilities from 5 PM to 9 PM.

Reporting to the Caretaker and Building Management Supervisor, this custodian position ensures that buildings are hygienic and presentable. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, physical capability for lifting up to 50 lbs, and basic computer skills. Previous janitorial experience is a plus, and the role requires flexibility in shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform professional cleaning and maintenance duties

• Ensure sanitary conditions in school facilities

• Report maintenance issues to supervisors

• Follow policies and procedures for cleanliness
