Lead convention center cleaning teams as an Account Director with Dexterra Group, applying strong supervision and event operations expertise. This hands-on position supports safe, event-ready facilities.
Dexterra Group seeks an experienced Account Director to supervise frontline cleaning teams in busy convention center or arena environments. You will coordinate event preparation, live events, turnovers, and recovery while maintaining guest-facing and operational areas. Success requires knowledge of commercial cleaning, strong communication, and decisive workforce coordination.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead cleaning teams across assigned facilities and event areas
- Coordinate staffing through preparation, events, turnovers, and recovery
- Conduct briefings, assign tasks, and complete shift handovers
- Inspect spaces, assign corrections, and verify completion
- Coordinate spills, hazards, emergencies, and service calls
- High school diploma required; related post-secondary education is an asset
- Three to five years of supervisory experience in relevant environments
- Experience leading teams in high-volume, guest-facing settings
- Knowledge of cleaning practices, equipment, chemicals, and waste management
- Working knowledge of WHMIS and workplace health and safety
