    Under the direction of the Director, Program Development Support and Innovation (PDSI) we are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager Lead that will:

  • Lead, facilitate, and participant in complex, cross-functional PDSI institutional projects from initiation through delivery.
  • This role requires a strong leader who can manage and lead multiple priorities and initiatives, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, support change management planning and activities, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • The project manager would be a main point of contact for assigned projects with various levels of stakeholder groups and be responsible for all levels of status and overall reporting.
  • This role would also contribute to the development of institutional and strategic standards and processes to support strong program and project management, and support community members in adopting the project methodologies, standard processes, and practices used for successful project initiatives.
  • This role assists and supports in training staff or stakeholders on current project management methodologies and processes and change management as needed.
  • Experience and Education Requirements

    To be the successful Project Manager III you will have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or relevant field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or recognized project management designation required;
    Highly knowledgeable of project management methodologies.
  • This position requires advanced project management skills and working knowledge of change management
  • Minimum of four (5) years of project management experience
  • Proven track record of leading and managing medium-large high-impact projects.
  • Experience successfully supporting individuals and teams with change required;
    Change Management certification a strong asset (ex. Prosci)
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and experience.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Experience in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;
    Experience using Teams a strong asset
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Strong facilitation and team engagement skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience advising senior leadership and a diverse range of stakeholders with mutual and competing interests.
  • Ability to keep abreast of trends and changes and learn new technology as required.
  • Requires attention to detail and accuracy in developing projects.
