The Regional Vice President, Operations provides strategic and tactical leadership for a significant operational area. This senior leader manages performance metrics, operational budgets, resources, compliance, and strategic initiatives. The position develops high-performing teams while collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish KPIs, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions
Develop operational budgets and manage financial performance
Optimize personnel, equipment, technology, and facility resources
Lead managers, supervisors, and frontline employees
Ensure safety, food safety, transportation, and environmental compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
At least eleven years of experience
At least seven years leading a team
Expert knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Understanding of OSHA, DOT, and FSMA requirements
Apply operational leadership, analytical decision-making, and compliance expertise to advance performance across Sysco’s significant operational areas.
