SALARY:Starting Salary Opportunity: $77,600+

BONUS:Bonus at Target $19,400

JOB RESPONSIBILTIIES:

  • Lead and support a team of unionized employees, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring employees are engaged, coached, and set up for success.
  • Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, including production support, receiving, shipping, and overall material flow, ensuring all activities meet standards for safety, service, and efficiency.
  • Manage staffing levels and weekly workforce planning to ensure operations are properly resourced and aligned with production and customer needs.
  • Drive improvement through operational excellence programs to ensure we deliver strong results with an empowered and accountable team.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying issues, enhancing processes, and ensuring performance targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Champion health and safety programs, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality expectations across the facility.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with Union Members and support effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure accurate use of WMS systems and resources, including maintaining reliable inventory levels and ensuring operational data is recorded correctly.
  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Business, Engineering Science, Operations Management, or Supply Chain
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts
  • 1-3 years experience as a supervisor/lead in a unionized production environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; logistics background an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient/understanding of WMS and ERP systems
  • Proficient with MS Office:
    Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English;
    Bilingual (French) an asset
