Aircraft Refinisher at IMP Aerospace

Elevate your skills as an Aircraft Refinisher with IMP Aerospace & Defence, leading the way in aircraft painting and preparation. This role emphasizes mentorship and adherence to safety standards for all tasks involved.

As a key member of the aircraft paint team, you will bring your valid paint trade certification and expertise to prepare, paint, and mentor. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of safety procedures, as well as experience in technical documentation and customer reporting. You'll be actively shaping the skills of airframe painters and assisting in all paint department responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning and masking

• Carry out painting and sealing on various aircraft components

• Ensure accurate completion of related technical paperwork

• Provide technical supervision and mentorship to junior paint staff

• Assist paint department with varying tasks as required

Requirements:

• Valid paint trade certificate from an accredited school

• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations

• Experience working at heights over three meters

• Skilled in reading technical manuals and documentation

• Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety policies
