Onsite Materials Handler

Join Moog Focal as an Onsite Materials Handler in Halifax, NS, ensuring efficient material flow to production. Operate equipment and manage inventory effectively to support JIT production.

In this critical role reporting to the Materials & Logistics Supervisor, you will handle raw materials and components, while supporting production schedules. Familiarity with inventory systems and the ability to operate material handling equipment like forklifts are essential. Your efforts will directly influence inventory accuracy and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to production lines as per schedules

• Manage and replenish materials using Kanban systems

• Monitor and trigger replenishments to prevent shortages

• Operate forklifts and other handling equipment

• Conduct regular audits for inventory accuracy

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings

• Familiarity with ERP/WMS tools

• Strong problem-solving skills with inventory.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Certified or willing to obtain forklift certification
