Onsite Materials Handler

Join Moog as an onsite Materials Handler in Halifax, NS, focusing on efficient material management and production support. Deliver raw materials and manage inventory effectively.

In this role, you will report to the Materials & Logistics Supervisor and play a crucial part in maintaining production flow. You will manage and replenish materials using Kanban techniques and ensure accurate inventory levels by collaborating with planning and purchasing teams. Your hands-on approach will be essential in preventing stockouts and managing logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to production lines based on schedules

• Monitor Kanban levels and trigger timely replenishment

• Ensure proper material handling to prevent loss or damage

• Operate material handling equipment like forklifts

• Conduct regular inventory audits for accuracy

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting

• Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems

• Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to learn

• Strong problem-solving skills with inventory issues

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
