In this position, you will work closely with the Shipyard Production Engineering team to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
Your role involves creating and validating Numerical Control data, interfacing with design partners, and addressing on-site production challenges. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvements in manufacturing quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage NC production data
• Review and validate design files for accuracy
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Troubleshoot production issues on the shop floor
• Create and execute test plans for automated systems
Requirements:
• Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent
• 2–5 years of relevant experience required
• Strong understanding of shipbuilding production
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Pro
• Experience with NC-controlled cutting/welding equipment preferred
