You will bridge engineering design and production execution, ensuring that all coating specifications are met and producing build-ready deliverables.
Your role involves developing paint packages and collaborating with engineering teams to establish standards that protect coated products throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage detailed paint packages by unit
• Establish preservation standards for coated products
• Align specifications with Platform Engineering through collaboration
• Conceptualize production norms for effective planning
• Engage in workflow reviews to optimize efficiencies
Requirements:
• Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years relevant experience in shipbuilding or heavy manufacturing
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and planning
• Preferred NACE Coating Inspection Certification Level 1
• Detail-oriented with experience in 3D modeling
