Developmental Plant Operations Supervisor

Canada Post seeks a Developmental Supervisor for Plant Operations in Halifax. You will oversee manual and mechanized mail processing while covering stations, sections, or shifts as operational needs require. The position includes staff leadership, workload planning, quality checks, reporting, and coordination between operational sections.

• Set daily priorities and schedule staff for assigned areas
• Promote workplace safety and correct unsafe operating conditions
• Coach employees and resolve staff issues
• Monitor workload, staffing, throughput, and productivity
• Analyze reports and implement productivity improvements

• High school diploma or provincial equivalent
• Minimum one year managing a team
• Or two years in a unionized environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• English essential and availability for overnight shifts
