Job Description & How to Apply Below
We’re growing our marketing and promotions team and are looking for a dynamic, creative, and hands-on Marketing Coordinator to help bring our brands to life both online and in the community.
The Role As a key member of the MBS marketing team, you’ll work closely with on-air talent, sales teams, and station managers to create content and experiences that engage listeners, drive tune-in, and elevate our brand presence.
This is a hybrid role combining social media content creation, event execution, and promotional coordination across multiple markets. No two days will be the same – one day you’re planning a station contest, the next you’re on-site capturing video from a community event or building digital assets for a client campaign.
What You’ll Do Plan and execute station promotions, contests, and community events
Represent MBS Radio at events and activations across the Maritimes.
Capture and edit photos and videos for social media platforms.
Create and publish engaging digital content that reflects the format, tone, and energy of each station.
Collaborate with on-air talent to extend on-air moments into digital storytelling.
Support local sales teams with creative content for client campaigns.
Monitor social media engagement and report on analytics and trends.
Ensure consistent, professional representation of MBS brands in all interactions.
What We’re Looking For A creative thinker with strong storytelling instincts and attention to detail.
Experience (or education) in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related fields.
1–3 years of relevant experience in social media, content creation, or events – an asset but not required.
Strong photography and video editing skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the Maritimes.
A team player who’s as comfortable behind the camera as they are in front of people.
What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
Opportunity to work with one of Atlantic Canada’s largest and most recognized media networks.
A fun, fast-paced, and creative work environment where ideas are encouraged.
The chance to grow your career while making a tangible impact in local communities.
Ready to Join Us? If you’re passionate about radio, community, and creative content – and love the idea of working in an environment where every day is different – we’d love to hear from you.
