In this full-time role at Symphony Nova Scotia, the Communications Specialist will be integral in shaping the organization’s communication strategy. You will develop and implement social media strategies, create compelling marketing content, and manage direct marketing efforts. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll ensure consistent quality in all communications that represent both the professional and youth orchestras.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee brand compliance in marketing materials

• Create and implement targeted marketing campaigns

• Build and manage social media content strategies

• Develop strategic marketing content for various platforms

• Draft press releases and communications for patrons

Requirements:

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, or PR

• 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience

• Strong writing and editing proficiency

• Knowledge of video/audio production is a plus

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools
