This Communications Coordinator supports brand and integrated marketing activities across Atlantic Canada. You will identify local media opportunities, communicate with journalists, and produce accurate communications materials. The work includes supporting national events, third-party fundraisers, and designated spokesperson responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify media opportunities and distribute releases and pitches
Monitor coverage and contribute to Cision reporting
Coordinate interviews and regional media relationships
Support media engagement at events when designated
Promote signature events and third-party fundraising activities
Requirements:
One to three years in communications, marketing, or public relations
Experience communicating professionally with media and the public
Experience supporting earned media coverage
Experience building journalist and stakeholder relationships
French language skills are an asset
Use media outreach, interview coordination, and coverage reporting skills to support Make-A-Wish Canada across Atlantic Canada.
