CBC Atlantic Communications Officer

Tell stories and connect communities as a CBC Atlantic Communications Officer through writing, events, and social media in a hybrid role.
CBC/Radio-Canada seeks a Communications Officer for its local Marketing, Communications and Brand team. You will support marketing and communications strategies, projects, and brand events across Atlantic Canada and Quebec. The work serves digital, radio, and television programming.

Key Responsibilities:

Advance strategies reaching younger and diverse audiences online and in person
Support community events, outreach, and stakeholder engagement across regions
Create media materials, social posts, and newsletters
Research projects and coordinate branded promotional material orders
Collaborate with teams, partners, vendors, and Audience Relations
Requirements:
Three or more years of relevant communications experience
Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Experience with communications and marketing materials
Strong organization and time management under tight deadlines
Connection to Atlantic communities and audience development experience
Bring storytelling, relationship building, and communications expertise to CBC Atlantic’s community engagement and programming initiatives.
