In this role, you will support the Community Program Coordinator in implementing educational and engaging activities that tackle food-related challenges. The position requires a passion for social services and the ability to handle sensitive topics compassionately. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential as you navigate various administrative tasks and play an active part in events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate community programming and events
• Assist in outreach and workshop delivery
• Support team collaboration for program success
• Address administrative duties effectively
• Travel may be necessary for community engagement
Requirements:
• At least 1 year in the social services sector
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Capable of working autonomously and in teams
• Valid Class 5 Nunavut driver’s license needed
• Inuktitut proficiency is favored
