Make a difference as a Community Walk Support Assistant with Breakthrough T1D by coordinating fundraising efforts across Ontario. Help manage events and engage the T1D community through strategic communication.
This part-time role stems from the Canada Summer Jobs Program and is open to enthusiastic individuals aged 15-30. You'll handle event communications, oversee data accuracy, and support social media initiatives for fundraising. Ideal candidates should have a customer service background and relevant educational experience in fundraising or communications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage mailings and event communications
• Ensure accurate database updates and records
• Develop social media content for events
• Assist registrants with technical difficulties
• Conduct outreach through phone and email
Requirements:
• Age between 15 and 30 at start of employment
• Must possess a valid SIN and be a Canadian citizen
• Education in Fundraising or related fields
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
