Position: Full-Time Youth Outreach Staff YMCA
Join the YMCA's Youth Outreach team in Halifax to support newcomer youth. This full-time role involves designing inclusive programs that promote connection and personal growth during evenings and weekends.

As Youth Outreach Program Staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering services that empower newcomers. Your focus on cultural adaptation and youth leadership will help create a vibrant community environment. Build supportive relationships as you work collaboratively with community partners to identify youth needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging community programs

• Facilitate culturally responsive activities for youth

• Maintain accurate records and track participant engagement

• Promote community resources and navigate services for youth

• Assist with organizing outreach events for youth engagement

Requirements:

• Education or experience in social services or program coordination

• Experience with youth, immigrants, or refugees

• Strong facilitation and leadership abilities

• Commitment to inclusivity and equity in service delivery

• Flexibility for evening and weekend work
