Position: Local Area Coordinator for Disabilities Support

As an LAC, you will be instrumental in implementing programs that support individuals with disabilities in realizing their potential. This role involves collaborating with clients, families, and community partners to create trusting connections and promote an inclusive environment. Your expertise in planning and coordination will be essential in this impactful position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support personal planning for individuals

• Advocate for comprehensive service access and inclusion

• Build strong community relationships to support individuals

• Lead partnerships aimed at enhancing local networks

• Promote principles of the United Nations Convention for Rights
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field

• 2+ years experience in community development or disability support

• Proficiency in person-centered planning techniques

• Exceptional interpersonal skills in diverse environments

• Track record in advocating for self-direction
