Education allowance for employees and family Work collaboratively with nursing team members to support clinical documentation and submission requirements according to specific funder reporting guidelines.
Engage staff in problem solving, offering education, coaching, and mentoring in resolution of problems.
Maintain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide safe, efficient, effective service in all areas of practice by keeping abreast of changes in practice setting that affect scope of practice.
* Current RN registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing and entitled to practice without restrictions
* Possess an understanding of the principles of community nursing practice
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills
* Commitment to professional development in clinical practice that is relevant to home health care
* Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
* Able to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)
* C.N.A. Certification as a Community Health Nurse (CCHN(C)) is considered an asset
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practicing Registered Nurse Comprehensive patient health assessment skills are required
Proven experience leading and managing a team Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines is required
